She is not only gorgeous with her sleek shiny black coat and her gorgeously loving eyes, she is also perfectly affectionate and sweet. She is the kind of pup that defines man’s best friend, she is very people oriented, even with kids! She has dog friends that she loves and plays with until they tire, and then they play some more. She does seem to do much better with male dogs.
Fawn is young, about 1 year but is over the puppy phase. She is not hyper, she doesn’t chew things up and she never ever potties in her kennel. We have had Fawn since a puppy and we are astounded that she’s never had any interest…

Goober is the bestest boy!
He is very friendly and outgoing, he loves to play and greets other dogs with a friendly accepting demeanor.
He is a silly boy but very smart and knows basic commands. He should learn a home routine rather quickly.

Hello! I’m Amber! I am pretty mellow but will play with my foster dog brother quite a bit. I sleep through the night with no accidents! I can be a bit of an escape artist unfortunately. Luckily, I am easily bribed by an open car door because, like I said, I really love car rides!
At my foster house, I am great with a much larger, high energy dog & a ten year old boy. I have also met their cat who swatted at me, but I didn’t mind. I am pretty quiet unless we are playing or my foster mom shuts the door on me, then I like to talk a little. I think I am a pretty flexible & easy going dog, if I do say so myself.
I’m a little thing, about 35-40 lbs with big love!
I’m ready to be adopted.

Shae is so very loved but unfortunately life happens and she has to find a new home. She's a wonderful dog, she’s good with all people, kids, dogs, cats, but can sometimes be a little bit shy at first. She loves to play and she loves to snuggle. She’s not very hyper, pretty chill other than play time. She is crate trained and potty trained too!

Hansen
Hansen is excited about life and full of energy! He's smart, eager to please, handler focused, and highly trainable. The second I entered his yard he jumped up on me, excited to greet his new friend. He did try to jump up on me several times but learned very quickly that he was only getting treats when all 4 feet stayed on the ground
He interacted nicely with all the dogs in neighboring yards, curious about them but never intense or reacting to anyone barking at him. Hansen followed me around asking for me to scratch his head throughout our time together. Like every higher energy breed, Hansen seems to have tons of excess energy that causes naughty behaviors. In his case it's constant jumping but once he's out of the shelter and getting enough exercise and mental stimulation that should be easy to fix.
Dog Friendly: Hansen tested well with all dogs!
Hansen isn't our most snuggly and affectionate dog at
the shelter but he will be your most loyal friend.
Please keep in mind:
*All dogs need slow intros and time to decompress
*Dogs or a 10+ year commitment
*Kids should never be left unattended or allowed to bother dogs, but especially shelter dogs!
*Volunteers are available to help! We want adoptions to succeed so please message one of us if you feel like you need guidance!

Lupin is a 1.5 year old, male, Dalmatian mix. He is large and energetic but a nice boy. Very strong.

Lainey-8 mo old female lab/pit mix. Very mellow with puppy energy.
Miss Piggy
Her name is Miss Piggy, she is a 10 month old, Catahoula mix. She a big goober, very responsive and sweet. She is already learning her commands in her training.
Molly
Molly is listed as a 2 year old, female Bernese Mtn Dog/Anatolian. We believe she is under a year and maybe a Great Pyrenees/Lab/Husky mix. She is great with other dogs and kids.
